SENT
SENT is a collection of 3.5” x 5.5” postcards created with black and white photocollage on watercolor paper painted with acrylic paint. Inspired by Hannah Hoch’s photocollage, which explore identity construction in the wake of the first World War, SENT aims to construct something of meaning during the winter of 2020. Each card depicts my cat Hobbes, who was a frequent out-of-place guest during my Zoom classes at Olin College, in an out-of-place composition.
SENT was created as my final project for the Olin course Creativity Practicum. The assignment was to create and send six randomly selected classmates postcards commemorating the experience of the class and the semester.
